Choosing your portrait artist matters. Your experience should feel intentional, guided, and beautifully handled from beginning to end!
Based in Northern Michigan, I work with families and seniors who value meaningful artwork and a process that feels effortless — not overwhelming.
Here’s how it unfolds:
- Discovery Call - A relaxed conversation to learn about your vision, your timeline, and how you’d love to see your portraits displayed in your home.
- In-Person Consultation - We’ll meet in your space to plan every detail — wardrobe, location, and most importantly, how your finished artwork will live on your walls. Seeing your home allows us to design with intention from the very beginning!
- Guided Portrait Session - Fun, natural, and fully directed, so you never feel awkward or unsure what to do. You’ll experience a blend of guided posing and candid moments — all centered around authentic connection.
- Personal Ordering Appointment - Together, we’ll select your favorite photos and design custom wall art and heirloom albums that reflect your story and your space beautifully. No guessing. No pressure. Just thoughtful design.
- Artwork Delivery - Professionally crafted and ready to display. Your memories transformed into tangible legacy pieces for your home.

Life is full of beautiful chaos, I understand that personally and deeply! That’s why I encourage in-home consultations and ordering appointments whenever possible. My goal is to make this process feel simple, organized, and genuinely enjoyable, even during the busiest seasons of life. From our first call to final delivery, you’ll always know what comes next, and will be supported the entire way.

Your Questions? Answered.
1) Are you willing to travel? Yes! I photograph families and seniors throughout Northern Michigan, including Cheboygan, Petoskey, Gaylord, and Mackinac Island. Travel fees are based on distance from my location in Indian River and are often included in your session fee.
2) What are your prices? Every client experience is unique. Most families invest anywhere between $500–$3,000+ on custom portraits. I work with you to curate a collection that fits your needs — no pressure, ever.
3) What happens after I reach out? I’ll respond promptly to schedule a Discovery Call, where we’ll discuss your vision. If we’re a good fit, I’ll guide you through the next steps to plan your session and artwork.
4) What is your specialty? I specialize in family and senior portraits, focusing on heirloom-quality wall art and albums. Every session is personal, intentional, and tailored to your unique story!
5) What if I need to reschedule or cancel? Life happens, and I understand that things pop up unexpectedly. Sessions and Discovery Calls can be rescheduled with flexible notice. I’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule. Everything is figureoutable!
6) Do you require a retainer to book? Yes. My Creation Fee is $175 for portrait sessions. For weddings, a non-refundable $800 retainer secures your date on my calendar and ensures I’m fully available to assist you leading up to the big day.
